I was fortunate to have parents that found owning top fuel cars way more entertaining than teaching us proper soccer ediquitte. We have raced virtually non stop since 1968 and have a racing parts business that caters to the nitro and alcohl racers...yet I spend most of my free time working around vintage and hot rod cars. There's something about driving an old 32 Ford that you will not get from even the newest Corvette or Viper, I guess its because the operation and controls feel similar to my Clark forklift...all the same, if I had my choice, I would spend all of my free time (all 45 minutes a week) dealing in hot rods and old collectible cars.
