Purchased first car (1964 Plymouth 426 Ramcharger) in 1968. Joined local car club and started to race with club members at Lion's Drag Strip. Our club joined up with 5 other clubs to form a Car Club Council. We had meetings once a month. then we scheduled match races against clubs at our local tracks. Which were Lion's, Irwindale and Orange County International Raceway.
