im rebuilding the master cylinder on my 54 belair. Do the rubber cups inside face same direction or oppose each other? im not sure the last...
i have 54 belair im working on....i also have a late 80`s chev 350 ide like to use in place of the 6cyl... question is will the late V8 bolt to...
they are gear reduction starters......most others are direct drive. Gear reduction is much stronger and longer lasting.
well..if the paint comes off after 30 years...the next guy can deal with it.
but BRASS and BRONZE are two different materials. Brass is a combination of copper and zinc while brass is a combination of copper and tin.
ive found several websites that recommend silicone bronze....i guess its some kind of flux built in and others that seem to be "old timers" that...
I knew paint/bondo wouldnt stick to brass..but couldnt find anything on bronze. The areas I would be welding wouldnt be stress/strength areas.
