    current - sitting right. i originally bought this 63 riv as a parts car. as dumb luck would have it, the car was way too nice to part out. it is a one owner car from middle-of-nowhere california. the car came complete with its original black plates and title. it has 44k miles and is real solid. it drives great. the car hadn't been registered since 76' and had seen little use since - it still has all of the original trim tags, papers, spare, headlights, fasteners, etc., etc. it is totally sunburnt. the work so far - replaced the rear window channel, part of a floor pan, and a small area of the rocker. the car is very dry. mechanically - treated the gas tank and replaced all fuel lines, replaced all belts and hoses, new battery and cables, new tires and powdercoated wheels, new carb, rebuilt starter, new brake lines and wheel cylinders, new brake shoes, new exhaust, new fuel sending unit, new fuel pump, new plugs and plug wires, rebuilt the distributor, re-cored radiator, new horn relay, some new rubber, new brake booster and master cylinder, new thermostat, new 2" drop springs, new carpet, new seatbelts, new vinyl seats, new headliner, new sail panels and package tray, powdercoated many interior trim pieces, etc., etc. trying to keep the car real original but breathe some new life into it (and stay on a budget).

    engine runs great and is quiet. it hasn't been jacked with and has great compression.
