1984 Caprice Landau, built 350 Chevy with a 4 speed manual transmission swap. Soon to have 4.11’s installed..A real blast to drive!
I love to tinker/fabricate and swap engines. I've been fooling around with cars for just over 40 years now... I reckon I got hooked by one of my sisters old boyfriends... We ended up good friends and went out raising some hell/street racing. He took the time to show me the basics and helped me out with my first car. Small block chevy was my first love, and my longest/most thorough experience, but I can appreciate all other American iron. I also enjoy a challenge. Some time ago, I successfully engineered a mechanical linkage manual transmission swap into a boxy '85 Impala, using mostly factory parts, and have since upgraded my current ride with a stick shift. I get the most satisfaction out of performing a non-stock swap that looks like the factory did it.
