I have been watching the weekly want ad since I was 16, always looking for a dream car to restore. I have bought a few and done nothing with them, like the mustang and the 57 Chevy. The Firebird was my first real car, I totaled it when I was 18. The Impala I bought a few years ago for my dad, who had beat cancer, it is his daily driver. I just got the F100 today, I traded it for an old racing mountain bike. I am dropping a 99 ford 4.8L motor and tranny in it, with my good friend Billy C helping me out. I am looking to restomod it with flat black, WW and red rims. Any help/ideas/suggestions you have in motor swaps, lowering or anything else about these classic trucks would be appreciated.
