Became a gearhead at 10 or 11 yrs. old reading HotRod and building model cars. Started driving in the rural area where I grew up at 14 yrs. old. Hotrodded my first car and every car since and started dragracing when I was 19. Had a severe heart attack followed within a month by three strokes three years ago. Could not walk, care for myself, had total memory loss, did not even know who my family was and doctors told my wife I would never get better. Now I walk with a walking stick because of Parkinson's desease and Rheumatoid Arthritis. I set a landspeed record in my SS truck last Oct. on the Maxton Mile and set two more LS records this past April on the Ohio, Mile and am getting truck ready to start dragracing at Paradise Dragstrip in Calhoun, GA.
