I've been into hot rods since I was a kid. I started by building AMT models, went through the mini-bike/go-kart stages and got my license at the start of the muscle car era. After a Mustang, GTO, 'Vette and a '55 post I bought a Deuce five-window and have been an old tin advocate since (I do have a lowered Miata for sunny afternoons and twisty roads).
My current ride is a '28 RPU hiboy jalopy. Small block/four-speed (real hot rods have three pedals) and an eight-nch with an Auburn l.s. make it a hoot to drive. I bought the A at a farm auction in '92 for seventy-five bucks! The body, frame, box and most of the original drivetrain was included, although it took some searching through the weeds to find everything. Lots of fun!
