I grew up wrenching on cars with my dad. He had a 1947 Crosley sedan as a teenager, a 1955 Chevy Nomad in his twenties and now owns a 1935 Ford 3 Window coupe. I learned that just because a part wasn't made for a car didn't mean it wouldn't work or couldn't be made to work. I learned the value of going to real parts stores with people who actually know what they are talking about. I go to junkyards for fun and I get dirty because I can. I now own my Dad's 1947 crosley that isn't even "barn fresh" but I'd like to put it back on the road again...rust (patina) and all!
