I love all sorts of cars - my first was a 1959 Standard Vanguard that I chopped the roof off, and it went from there. You can see most of them at www.shawthing.com in the cars section - my favorite wasn't a rod though - a GT40 replica that I raced and drive 60k miles in over two years. I guess my best rod was the ex-Dick Spodaro '56 Ford F100 which I owned twice. My current cars are the 64 catalina convertible which will stay stock for family, and the balls-to-the-wall 55 chevy project that started out as a '37 ford. Built for road racing it's all speed, no comfort.
