I grew up in the Detroit area and my dad's a retired Ford guy, so I've been around and have loved cars my entire life. Bought my first car (72 Torino Sport) at 14. I've been luckey to have worked for some great people building race cars and hot rods. I was Doug Kalitta's engine builder / crew chief during his midget and sprint car years, spent some time building race engines in Phoenix at Klein Engines, built lots of sprint and midget engines and an engine for the Vesco/Nish Bonneville Streamliner. Worked at the Bob Bondurant racing school for 7 years. I currently take care of a private car / motorcyle collection in Northern Michigan. Not a bad life so far.
