Dad bought it today and drove it home with no issue. $5k, out thee door.
I talked to Dad a little while ago and he said that the seller had called and asked if he was still interested because he had somebody else...
Alright guys.."one4dad" IS my Dad and I was with him when we went to look/drive the car...it's my fault that he's even concerned with cars again...
Yeah, you're right. I didn't mean to hi-jack this intro thread, I promise. So much for introductions...it's become a life story!! I'm thinking...
here's a pic of the finished model with the key attached. At first, when he unwrapped it, he didn't see the key...it had fallen behind the model....

As I hoped, Dad and I spent Christmas day removing the seats and stripping the interior. This was after we got her off the trailer and up on jack...
I took a brand new model that was sea foam green and tried to make it look a little more like the one that will be sitting in the driveway on...
the craftsmanship is amazing and the "car" is awesome...looking. there's no way in hell it can possibly drive as good as it looks. it's so narrow...
notice, that some idiot took the plugs out before parking it. Nice little spot for spiders and other critters to live.
