- Breakfast Bunch/Not really a club but a Saturday morning gathering of hot rodders and motor heads.
Saw my first Hot Rod at age 13 and have been hooked ever since. Worked part time for about a year at a hot rod shop in Norfolk, VA after retiring from shipbuilding. Currently working 3 days a week at a small shop in Smithfield, VA. Plans are to turn my 29 Business Coupe into a traditional hot rod.
Plans seem to have a way of changing. The Business Coupe is sold. I found a 30 Coupe and it is being re-born as a nailhead powered hot rod with the usual stuff; deuce frame, 5 speed, chopped top, quick change, Diamond T dash, Buick drums. You know, kind of simple.Interact
