Always loved cars but growing up in central London made it impractical to own or learn to drive....(motorcycles excluded.) I moved to LA in '02 where all of a sudden, 4 wheels were more than a necessity. Bought my first ride for $200 and figured out how to drive it on the way back from Pacoima to Hollywood, a washed out beige, beaten up, 70 Fury with a strong running 360 and green velveteen interior. Became a devotee of recycler and craigslist and spent the rest of the year swapping, fixing and generally hounding around 8 different rides, trying to figure out what I liked. Still working on that.....
