Cousin used to give me his old 'Hot Rod' mags back in '63.
As a kid I built hot rod models all the time.
Couple of years after passing my driving test I customized my daily runner (mercury capri), usual stuff, big wheels, metal flake paint.
Then finally got around to building a car in '79 ('59 Morris panel van), after that I've never looked back !
Moved from the UK to Orange County California in 1988. Set up a part time business selling parts for '48 Ford Anglias.
Moved back to the UK in 2005, currently converting a Victorian Chapel into a home. Nearly finished now so shall be looking into getting a new rod project on the go soon.Interact
