I am 68. I started in 1956 with a 1941 Ford 4 dr sedan. Sold it, bought a 1949 Ford 2 dr sedan with a 331ci Chrysler hemi. The following spring I put the hemi into a 1928 Ford roadster, but had to store it when I joined the US Air Force. I sold the roadster while on my way from assignment in the Philippines to a new asignment in England. In 1967 my wife and I bought a new 1967 Dodge R/T with a 440ci magnum engine. Had to sell it 1 1/2 yrs later after a 6 month stint in Vietnam. We downgraded to a VW (groan) for better economy while I attended college at Wash. State Univ. I started back into hotrodding years later by purchasing a 1949 Ford which I installed a self-built 383 Chev small block (and still have it 20-some years later). The rest of my collection I have purchased off of eBay in the past several years.
