Got interested in cars in general by hanging around as my then, brother-in-law, expert body man built KOOL cars. Later strayed with fast modified cars (55 / 57 chevies, corvettes etc.) then after one ride in a friends 34 Ford street rod I got hooked on early iron. I did own a bright yellow chopped 39 Chevy sedan, slammed, wide whites etc for 10 plus years. It won a Street Rodder Mag top 10 at a Goodguys show and appeared in several mag. It was NOT a magazine car, just one of those eye catching rides that drew attention and smiles from everyone, everywhere. Sold it to a great guy in Everett Ma. that drives the wheels off it. Sure miss that car. Currently own a 47 Ford coupe finished in suede with wide whites, again, the slammed front. Just added creature comforts like air heat lots of sound proofing and comfortable seats. looking forward to looong cruises in comfort with my better half.
