I had a dad that was into Bikes and spent many Saturdays at Detroit Dragway. My uncles were into cars and one had a shop in Wyandotte and always had something fun in the driveway or garage at his place. I used to pedal my Webco BMX bike to the magazine store by the house to fondle all the car magazines. We used to ride our bikes to watch the cars cruise Graph and talk about how cool it will be when we can get our rides and be out there. I got into muscle cars and than a trip to Carlsbad Dragstrip while in California got me hooked on VW's. I built a nice Cal Look VW that would run down many of those Muscle cars I loved so much. I had a 56 Ford that I had to sell in the middle of a move and always said I would get a Kustom of some sort. I also wanted something with History. When the 54 came around the VW went Bye Bye.
