a pomauski (born in britain, bred in aus & corrupted in nz) 1st hot rod show at a sydney shopping mall (roselands?) '65ish, nz hot rod & ahrr mags from '67 onwards, 1st kiwi hot rod show hamilton '68ish . saw 1st 10 sec run (in nz) by pete lodge, the SOUND of that hemi (chain drive supercharger) as he hit full throttle 100ft out of the hole (level with me) will be with me till i die. i've been to hot rod shows, cruises, drag racing in nz, aus & eng on & off ever since.
