Got into cars at 9-10 years old when living next door to a circle track racer in Bakersfield CA. He ran a '59 T-Bird and hauled me to the races as a crew member. I was livin' large!... 3 years later went to the fuel & gas championships @ Famoso in '67. Saw 'The Hawaiian' & 'Freight Train'.... I WAS HOOKED.
