When I was 14 I followed in my older brother's footsteps when he bought a 55 chevy. We drooled over parts catalogs dreaming of building radical engines with tunnel rams and dual carbs or crower fuel injection with all those crazy looking pipes sticking out of the hood. What kid wouldn't love that look on his machine? Later that same year, I saved up my yard cutting money and I bought my first car for $200 cash...a 56 chevy, a couple of years later a 55 chevy and last but not least, in 1986, a 66 nova which I still own today. My brother owns a 56 Buick that we intend to restore and give to my dad some day. He used to own one back in the 60's when we were kids.
