Instead of working at McDonalds when I was a kid I was lucky enough to get to work for a friend of my dad's, Bob Clouse. Since I was 12 I have been building hot rods. 28-48 Fords mostly. All were built with solid axle front ends, tuck and roll inside and mostly Flattys, but we did use quite a few SBC. Some with a turbo 350, some adapted to the old school 3 speed 39 Ford Tranny with Zepher gears. I have not been able to build any traditional rods for the past 10 years, busy with a retail/dirt bike shop. Built a 55 Stude, not traditional, but got 7 pages in Super Rod Feb 07. Look forward to wasting time here with you guys!
