My first car was a 56 TD post Chev. Bored out 283 with a three speed Hurst shifter. Custom tail lights, custom black interior, dechromed hood and trunk. Drove it for 8 years and then life intervened. Had a nice 63 panel with custom gold/black paint. Put on a 65 hood, hated the "eye brow" hood. Down hill from there. Bought a 75 F-150 in 77 and still drive it. Drives like a dream. Smooth 302/T-6, comfy seat.
