I spent several weeks on summers at the auto repair shop towards my uncle's shop when a little kid. Loved the smell, specially that "old car" smell from the 40' something Buick and Ford left there for decades waiting for nobody to pick them up. Learned to drive at the age of 6 with my uncle's 74' falcon and "cacho's" (the mechanic) 66 falcon.
