How much advantage (besides cool factor) does the Winfield head have over the 6:1 Snyder? Not saying it doesn't, genuine question!

I did more or less this. I had a clamp pushing from the chassis rail on a 1/4" extension through that hole pressing against the oil pump to hold...
I actually tried that, and it didn't help... Even tried starting it. As I say, it was properly stuck!
