It all started for me in High School welding class. I started welding and building VW's with some local guys early on and things just steam rolled from there. I ended up working in So. Cal in the summers building VW Door-Slammers and Dragsters during college. After college I sold most of the VW stuff, I jumped feet first into the traditional hot rod life.
