I got into hot rods growing up in the 70s and watching/helping my dad with his cars until I was old enough for him to help me on mine.

I worked as a welder after high school (took auto and welding shop classes in school), worked nights as a bartender, a few years of that and enlisted in the Army for four years, got out and went to college on my GI Bill. Went to law school after undergraduate and now work in the oil and gas drilling and exploration industry.

I've got a '63 Riviera I'm going Watson style custom with and a '64 Chevy Pickup I plan to make into a mild custom daily driver.
