As a kid the seldom seen hot rod was really exciting. As a farm kid we had to learn to do our own repairs on farm machinery ,so I learned and applied one to the other, and am still learning.
Been married since' 88'. In 2000 our blue eyed girl was born. In 2005 we built a new house with a nice big garage which should house 5 cars , finally no more ice scraping.
My first car was a 65 Chevy hardtop 283 three on the tree, high school car, then I had a couple 64 Chevys and a 67 Chevy ss. I had a couple 55 and 56 chevys, nothing real nice.
Then I built a 55 Chevy 210 into a gasser style with a tube straight axle and long ladder bars, candy paint and crushed velvet.
Sold the 55 to build a T bucket, which I later sold to build a 36 Plymouth coupe,I had a 283/350 turbo in that and it was fun to drive so I kept it a dozen years. While I had the 36 I build another T bucket for fun, so for a while I had 2 fun cars.
I pretty much sold everything to help pay for a new house, so in August of 08 I bought my model A which I now drive. :^) and I am working on the 55 Chevy pickup which I started work on in "18" and someday the 47 Chevy.
