old flathead

I have always love old cars. I am a plymouth/Dodge freak. Currently I am working on the 37. My plans are to leave to 50's style rod. I have a 56 Dodge truck motor going into it. I would like to split the sound pipes on it. I plan on putting a 50's backend in it. I will paint and doing the body more modern. Two tone White and turquois if possible. Any advise I could get along the way would be appreciated greatly. This will be my first car by myself. My father has always had old cars to tinker with when I was at home.
