I am 65 and as a kid was into cars but had no money - sound familiar. In 1984 I was looking for a 40 Ford Convertible (had one in HS) to live out my dream. Instead I found a 40 Merc Convertible and finished the restoration. Since then I work on old cars some each day and really enjoy it. I am a perfectionist so tend to get buried in my projects but am working hard to break that habit and just enjoy the ride. I have met a lot of great people and some jerks too but then everyone has to have a place in this life. I am big on honesty and integrity and have no problem calling it as I see it.

I especially enjoy this site and get a good laugh at some of the comments and attitudes.
