Slot not long enough for lift of cam. Floating the valves. Push rod wrong length so geometry is off.

I brushed mine but did have a spray can for a couple of bits that were easier than a brush.

I've done my last 3 builds using Rustoleum gloss black and it's held up great for my cars. I do the whole under body, and frames also....

I used a Rustoleum industrial satin black on mine, didn’t seem to be too finicky about surface contamination. It’s held up ok. [ATTACH]
