i am 62 yrs. young, my older (deceased) brother introduced me to cars & drag racing at age 12...our 1st car was a 36 ford 2dr coup w/ rumble seat ,48 flathead with 3 2's, 3-spd trans on the floor...sold it after completion & purchased a 31 chevy 2dr sedan, which we raced in c/gas class in the early60's & 70's...after marriage ,2kids, new house mortgage toys had to go ,so sold all ....bought a 62 vett & restored it, also , a 78vett for the wife to drive in 1980....still have both....just purchased a 1931 chevy 2dr sedan to clone my old race car (haven't been able to find it)and am currently restoring it.well, it's been 3 1/2 yrs.and finally i have a rolling chassis going to the final stages of painting the body (thought it would only take 6 months ha..ha .).car looks fantastic....once a gear head always a gear head....thanks for listening , pat
