Pete & Jake's has nice Shock Mounts for fendered model A's. Both, bolt on or weld on.
I believe the truck rearends were built so that both the right & left axles were the same length. That would leave the pinion off center.

Are you using a stock model A wishbone? What dropped axle are you using? You could be creating more problems by using the wrong combination of parts.
