My step dad was a mechanic and that fueled my love for cars. I dont know much as far as repair but have always appreciated each and every one in my own way. Now I have just bought a 49 F-1 and know absolutly nothing about flatheads, but I cant wait to learn.

Update- Thanks to all the help from this board I have my 49 on the road w an SBC swap. The HAMB is the best thing since sliced bread.
