Not from a car culture family, but it all started with Ron Howard's '58 Impala in American Graffiti. Best friends in a car club pointed me to "an old Cadillac in a field" which turned out to be a 1958 Chrysler Imperial without engine or trans. Big and wide, quad headlights and fins are my recipe for a low, slow, sweet cruiser. Learning as I go and loving the process, I have moved on to my "Janet", a '58 Delray from Montana.
