I've been a gearhead since birth. I think I got the gene from my Pops. He was into cars, bikes, and Jeeps all his life. I tore apart the engine in Pops' rototiller when I was about 8, and he made me put it back together. Started racing and wrenching bikes shortly after, and progressed to cars when I could drive. Harleys and drag racing came next, and later a return to racing motorcycles. Age, injuries, and family life intervened...now I just play with old bikes and cars so I don't get any more busted-up than I already am.
