I love muscle cars of the 60's and 70's especially the big block 409 Impalas. I went to and raced at quite a few of the Virginia tracks in the late 60's and early 70's. A few of the cars I have owned included a 64 Chevy Impala with a 409/425 hp and 4 speed transmission, a 68 Corvette with a 427/435 hp tri- power, a 71 Corvette 454 LS5, a 1971 Corvette LT1, a 69 Plymouth Road Runner with a 440 six pack and torqueflite automatic, and a 67 Plymouth Belvedere II with a factory 440 Super Commando and 4 speed transmission that was a raced by a local Plymouth dealership when it was new. I now have a 1996 Corvette Collector Edition with the LT4 engine and 6 speed transmission (just as fast as the 71 LT1) along with a 2007 Dodge Ram Hemi. I live about 5 miles from the old Louisa Dragway and I am very interested in its history and the cars and people that were present during its heyday.
