I'll come out of the "VW closet" right off. Bought a 1970 bug in high school to teach myself how to work on cars. Stayed in VWs since I had so many parts. Started drag racing a bug in late 90's, now running low 10's in a 1956 Bug at around 135mph. Also have a squareback and a fastback(chop top in progress) Along the way finally got my hands on some american cars, a couple rough 49/50 hudsons and then a 58 chevy belair which actually is fairly decent and drive as much as I can depending on what I'm working on at the time.
