    First Automotive lesson I ever had was on a lawnmower. My dad pulled the Spark plug wire off and told me to hold on to it as he pulled the motor over. After the initial shock wore off and my hand still tingling,he smiled and said "Thats how you check for spark". It's been all down hill ever since.
