About
My dad use to build and race cars in Freeport on Long Island in the 60's. When he started a family he stopped racing b ut never lost his love for cars. He still had his first "hot rod" he built up until the early 90's. It was a "48 Continental conv. with an Olds J2,slightly modified, that he swapped in.
When I was growing up he always had a muscle car around and was always working on something with me at his elbow. So naturally when I was old enough I started "playing with cars" [as my mom would say]. I use to run mid 60's Pontiacs on Fri and Sat nights.
Fast foward 20 something years later and I have 2 young sons of my own and find myself having a relapse. I have a 54 Chevy 210 that I picked up to restore with my son. Now I'm thinking, with his help, that maybe it might need a V-8. It's going to be interesting to see what happens. Stay tuned>Interact
