Done this back in the early 90's with an RV cam that came real close to the stock 340 cam. Best running 318 that I ever owned.
If you was to cut my throat the only thing that would run out is MOPAR!
I realize this is an old thread, but do/did your heads have the huge 18mm(Ford) plugs like ones I have here.

These where on it when he got it back in the mid 90's. and been on the motor awhile cause they were covered in thick grease and grim like the rest...
