I've always gravitated to the style/design of the 40's-mid60's era: cars, fashion, music, decor, etc... where it had character, personality and soul.
Learning about cars, working on cars and especially cruisin' them is therapy for me and keeps me out of trouble (sometimes). I figure it's a good way to pass the time and the culture seems to fit. I don't have a lot of free time with my job, four little kids and keeping the better half happy, but of the time I do have, I prefer to do anything related to the car scene. Music, art and car culture is definitely an escape from the day-to-day for me.
