I never had a grandfather but my substitute grandfather(might as well have been my grandfather) had me watching him make parts on a Atlas lathe. I'm still amazed thats how I got into hot rods He would be proud at what I still remember. I also hung out summers across the road from Lakeland Dragway(Near Memphis) Old drag cars are still my favorites. I still try to work on my own stuff but the idea of a computer in a car having the code corrupted still makes me scratch my head. Old stuff is still the best.
