I’ve been wrenching on cars in the driveway since before I built my first motor at 15. In the 30 some odd years since then I’ve always had a project car of some type. Eight years ago, after moving into a house that needed renovating, I parked my latest project behind the house and ignored it. During the intervening years my ideas of what I wanted to build had evolved from the 4WD 57 GMC I had into a lowered truck with satin paint. This past winter I drug the truck up beside the house and started working on it again. It is now being driven weekly if not daily as I continue to work on it.
