Grew up in the 60's in a hot rod family. Mom's car was an Avenger kit car, Dad's was a fenderless duece. Always built our own stuff, and it didn't hurt that I was artistic and could draw it before I built it. Raced sports cars for a while, but rodding is still more affordable, and the people are cooler too. At least the ones who do it themselves. Innovation without technology.
