SoCal52Deluxe

I live in southern California and have had my Chevy since Christmas of 2012. The progress is slow, mainly because I have no mechanical experience and I'm doing as much as possible myself. With a wife and 2 kids, that leaves less time for the car than I probably need to speed things up. This site has been a huge help. So far I have replaced the failing 216 with a '54 235, rewired the entire car, rebuilt the front and rear suspension, front and rear brakes, and master cylinder. I had someone chop 3 inches off the top and I have lowered her about 3 1/2 inches up front and 5 inches in the rear. Hopefully in 2015 I can get the modifications and bodywork done and get glass installed, we'll see!
