45 years young ..built a T bucket and a '34 ford roadster while doing my apprenticeship...the roadster was steel ...one of the biggest mistakes i have ever made was to sell it as "Tin" is hard to find out my neck of the woods.....sort of left the rodding scene in my early 20's to travel round the world a bit .....but always keep a hand in building brakets and the odd chassis for a few ...got more involved in drags ...was head scurtineer at "tarmak dragway " in tasmania(aussie)...then women and kids put a holt to anything serious.....moved back to New Zealand with a young family.....and it was becoming harder and harder to resist the urges....the wife didnt understand ....and thats why she is now an X wife....after a few years of hard graft ....i know have the chance to get back in to rodding and racing....and i look at this as a way to pass some thing on to my 2 boys ...aged 13&12....the X will have a fit when she see's what i have planned for there first cars ....i sort of stumbled on this awesome site while looking for some info .......the message borad is just the best thing and has helped me out heaps ...in planning the way i want to go about the "27 roadster pickup......it hard a bit being in a country that dont have a lot of "bits" floating around...bit we are an inventive lot here...and always come up with a "way to do " something.....rodding at its rawest sometimes...not saying that everything should be done by mail order...thats not rodding to me ...but it is handy if you need a new repro part......anyways thats bout it for me ......see ya on the boardsInteract
