I've had the best luck with Everyready "D" cells.
I bought mine at Costco. $25 a pop for a 4' -2 light fixture.
I am currently developing a hard rubber dropped axle. It rides much better and if you have an accident, it will return to it's original shape.
Nothin' looks better than a black engine. Trying to locate the origin of an oil leak really sucks on a black engine.
And, it's usually cheaper than battery cable and a lot more flexible.
