The wood dash doesn’t bug me all that much. I’d change the column/wheel and wheels and roll for the immediate future.
I’m only 6’0 and 200ish, but even a 48 f-1 is tight on leg room with a stock seat.

I think I’d look for a running and driving model A resto that is showing its age in your choice of body style, bearing in mind that some 4 doors...
Rub and run. Get it running and have fun. Nice paint is overrated. Not worrying about little scratches and dings is great.
