About
At 21 I knew this was my dream car. I seen the local Silverhawk for two years before I had a chance to catch up with the car in a parked position to see what it was. After 16 years of gauking I found one online at an affordable price. I gave my 16 year old son (motorhead/motorcycle rider by nature) a week long pass from school and an all expense paid trip to Colorado with my 19 year old nephew to bring the car back by trailer. Kids had amazing stories to tell about road trip and enjoyed the constant conversation from enthusiest they met along the way. Worked out great for me and great for them. Have had the car and a Chilton's manual for about two years. Progress is slow but rewarding. Want to keep as original as possible. Came with 289, double barrell stromburg and a fuel system filled with liken. Got to drive this summer for the first time qfter putting a disk break conversion on the front. My carb rebuild wasn't the greatest, fouls out at 40. can't wait to have the time and weather to get bck to it.Interact
